About Beardies World
Beardies World publishes care, diet, habitat, and behavior guides for bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps) keepers. Every guide is written and maintained by our editorial team.
What we are, and what we are not
We are not veterinarians, and nothing on this site replaces an examination by one. Our guides are general care information. When a symptom or situation needs a vet, the guide says so plainly. If your dragon seems unwell, you can find a reptile vet through the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.
How we write and maintain our guides
- One species. Every guide is written for bearded dragons specifically, not for reptiles in general.
- Dated. Every guide shows when it was first published and when it was last updated.
- Drafted with AI. Our guides are drafted with AI writing tools. We check each guide's figures against the rest of the site so they agree, and no guide on this site has been reviewed by a veterinarian.
- Corrected when wrong. If something is out of date or incorrect, email info@beardiesworld.com. We fix the guide, and its Updated date changes.
Links and money
We do not currently earn anything from links on this site. A few guides link to a specific product that the guide itself recommends. If we ever join an affiliate program, we will say so on every page where it applies.
